HP Sun Oracle Novell Novell is a world leader in enterprise software. We are the only company that delivers an open source platform along with the integrated systems management and security and identity solutions on top of that platform. These technologies allow us to help customers manage both their platform but also other heterogeneous components of the IT infrastructure. By delivering this technology to our customers, either directly or through our global network of partners, we are able to help customers drive increased performance from their IT infrastructure at a reduced cost. Mega Computing Established in June 1997, Mega Computing offers a range of modeling, simulation and enterprise computing services and solutions for numerically intense compute environments. These solutions help customers to reduce their overall product development cycle, increase utilization of computational resource and helps users experience dramatic improvements in Speed, Cost and Quality. Mega Computing serves several key customers in ASEAN and Asia region in the Academia, Defense, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Precision Engineering and Transportation sectors. Mega Computing (S) Pte Ltd, with its offices in Singapore and Malaysia, is the distributor in Asia and South East Asia for software products such as HyperWorks, LS-Dyna, iSIGHT, PBS Pro Gridworks and Paramics. As part of Mega Computing expansion program, Mekarprise Sdn Bhd was set up in April 2002 to provide local sales and technical support to its customers in Malaysia. Adaptive Enterprise @ Singapore Over the past few years, the penetration of Grid technology into the media world has seen significant progress. The aim of this project is to develop system/tools that would tie in the different Grid technology together to address the challenges faced by the Digital Media community, e.g. economic models, advance Grid technology, and optimized rendering applications. The project is undertaken by Nanyang Technological University, Institute of High Performance Computing, and Singapore Management University with participation from HP Labs researchers. Altair Engineering Altair Engineering, Inc. strengthens client innovation and decision-making through technology that optimizes the analysis, management and visualization of business and engineering information. Privately held with more than 1,200 employees, Altair has offices throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. With a 20-year-plus track record for product design, advanced engineering software and grid computing technologies, Altair consistently delivers a competitive advantage to customers in a broad range of industries. Grid The National Weather Study Project is a large-scale environmental study project deploying hundreds of mini weather stations in schools throughout Singapore. In this project, we are developing the National Weather Sensor Grid, which connects all these weather stations to automatically collect and aggregate the weather data in real-time. We are building tools for publishing, querying, processing, visualizing, and archiving the weather data. The sensor grid also makes use of computational and data storage grid resources for the processing and storage of weather data. Gelato Federation Gelato is the global research community dedicated to advancing the Linux Itanium platform through collaborative relationships targeting real-world problems and solutions. Co-founded by HP and seven of the world's leading research institutions, the Gelato Federation, also known as Gelato, is working to fulfill this mission by bringing together those developing and using Linux on Itanium for the purpose of fostering Itanium-specific research, focus groups, and collaborative discussions. This booth is setup by Gelato in partnership with National Grid Office, Bioinformatics Institute and Institute of High Performance Computing. PBS GridWorks PBS GridWorks provides a suite of technologies that allows enterprise clients to maximize their ROI on computing assets through policy-based grid technology. The suite includes OpenPBS, PBS Professional, e-Compute, Render Pro and Scali Manage. PBS GridWorks products and services are widely deployed within a number of industries, including manufacturing, government, academia, life sciences, energy, digital media and finance. Altair's mature partner network ensures seamless integration and ease of deployment. Singapore Grid
Forum The Singapore Grid Forum was established in October 2006, as a society registered with the Registrar of Societies, to provide a forum for interested parties to participate in Grid Computing activities in Singapore. SGF aims to promote the growth and development of knowledge in the usage of Grid Computing and related technology, and to foster close links with other associations and organisations involved with Grid Computing. |
